Marie is a very enthusiastic teacher, teaching all ages and levels through an individual based method depending on the student’s personality and interests.

Marie encourages students to discover their instrument through the different paths of sound, posture, intonation and interpretation. She also includes music theory in the lessons.

​

As a teacher, Marie is a certified ABRSM and colour string teacher. She works for Highgate School, St.-Dunstan College and Brent Music Servic. Beside this, she teaches violin, viola and piano privately online or at from the comfort of your home. 

 

Her students obtained distinctions and merits in the ABRSM exams, and were succesfull in obtaining music scholarhips at their schools. Furthermore her students won prizes at competitions, positions in the National Children Orchestra, places at the Junior Guildhall and Junior Trinity School, and grants for music courses.

 

In 2014 she was an intern for the First String Experience class at the junior department of the Royal Academy of Music.
